Approvals Explained
PrayMore leverages AI to detect possibly inflammatory language and disparaging remarks before allowing a post to go through. This protects our users both from foolish posting, as well as from seeing offensive content.
How it works
When a message is flagged for approval, a notification is sent to all approvers for the group that the message was posted to. Any one approver can approve or reject the posting.
- If the post is approved, it is immediately posted to the prayer list and will be available to subscribers of that list on the next sync.
- If it is rejected, the item is deleted and the person that rejected the approval may choose to contact the posting person to address any concerns about appropriate language.
The AI will err on the side of safety so sometimes, something that is probably okay to share may get flagged for approval.
When you choose approvers for a group, try to keep the count to a minimum of trusted adults that have good discernment. We also recommend that most groups have at least two approvers in case of availability.
