Can I mark a prayer as answered?

We can be certain that the Philippian believers were praying with the anticipation of getting and answer to their prayers for Paul's needs that are expressed in Philippians 1:19-21: for I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance, as it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death.

Sharing answers to prayer requests, be they "yes," "no," or "not yet" contribute much toward healthy lives and fellowship among the saints. Our prayers are more specific and effective when we're kept up-to-date, and our relationships with God and each other maintain a healthy degree of intimacy and vibrancy.
