Sharing your prayer requests with others is essential for the healthy church. James 5:16 says, Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working (ESV). The Lord chooses to do his work through prayer, so it is good for us to both ask for prayer and to pray for each other.
You can share from two different places: the Feed View and the Lists View.
Sharing from the Feed or Lists view
To share a new prayer, make sure you have navigated to Feed or Lists then tap the blue plus button 
in the lower right of the screen.
If you are a member of more than one list, you will be able to select which list and with whom you would like to share your prayer.
If necessary, select the list and you will be brought to the prayer entry page. Tap the prayer details section and type in whatever you want to share with your group.
Prayer Details
Tip: As you enter your request, be thoughtful in your language. This is not only a prayer request to a Holy God, but you are also sharing it with others so that they can pray and intercede on your behalf. Try to keep your language short and sweet. Try not to go into details - say just enough to help someone to pray.

Once you have entered your needs, you can immediately click Share and have your request shared with others. You also have the option to include, before you share, any or all of the options listed below your request. They are described here below.
How are you feeling?
Emotions really help communicate your state of mind and spirit to those that are praying for you. If possible, we recommend selecting an emotion every time you share a prayer. It will greatly help others to pray for you. 
Select Scripture
You can select from a number of Scriptures that try to match the text of your request, or you can search for an appropriate Scripture. Sharing Scripture also helps the people praying for you to know better how to pray for you.
