My prayer reminders aren't working

Reminders require notification permission and Remind me to pray turned on.

If reminders are not arriving, check the following.

  1. In the app, go to Profile → Settings → Reminders (or Reminder settings). Make sure Remind me to pray is turned on. Set a Start time and End time and the number of reminders per day. The screen shows your choices saved.
  2. Check your device notification permission. The app needs permission to send notifications. On your phone, open Settings (device settings) → Apps → PrayMore → Notifications. Make sure notifications are allowed. On some devices (e.g. Samsung), you may need to allow "Do not disturb" exceptions or disable battery optimization for PrayMore so reminders are not delayed.
  3. If you use a Samsung or other Android device, the app may show a notice about battery or notification settings. Tap the link in that notice for more help. Ensure PrayMore is not restricted from running in the background.
